Raised in Suzhou, a city with rich traditional culture, Ying Luo used to walk through different Suzhou traditional gardens since her childhood. Thus, she integrates abundant elements of flowers, birds, fishes, and insects as well as pavilions, terraces, and pagodas into her jewelry design works. Since Ying Luo learned about kingfisher feather art and filigree craft three years ago, she has been travel around the country to collect the Kingfisher accessories from Qing dynasty which are scattered in different places. Having been collecting different accessories, Ying Luo was shocked by the beauty of traditional jewelry. Hence she integrates traditional Kingfisher craft into modern accessories, presenting distinctive and unique charm of jewelry.
