Innovation and Upgrade of UBM's Shanghai Jewellery Fair 2017


UBM Asia, organiser of the most professional international jewellery fairs in the world, offers opportunities to companies around the globe engaged in the jewellery trade. Considering the current economic transitions and industry upgrades, UBM's Shanghai Jewellery Fair (Shanghai Fair) 2017 will implement innovative strategies and integrate resources from all industry partners to create an eligible business platform for jewellery traders. As the most professional, fashionable and influential jewellery fair in East China, Shanghai Fair be held from 17 to 20 November 2017 at Shanghai World Expo Exhibition & Convention Center. Having explored the jewellery market of East China for 13 years, UBM Asia has always offered professional services to domestic and overseas jewellers. • Shanghai Fair 2017 will seek to cooperate with exhibitors from Germany, Italy, Japan, Thailand, USA, India, South Korea, Australia, Hong Kong and Taiwan in order to put up new and additional international pavilions, as well as overseas designers with classic product collections. The fair will also provide opportunities to exchange ideas and conduct a business matching platform for overseas and Chinese jewellers through a series of professional activities, such as Gems Day, Pearls Day and K-Gold Day.

• Shanghai Fair 2017 offers an exciting feature – the Asia Pacific Jewellery & Watch Expo – as a result of UBM Asia’s strategic alliance with the Shanghai NIU International Exhibition Co., Ltd. Co-organisers are the China National Light Industry Council, Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and the Informatization Division of Foreign Economy. The expo will showcase exquisite jewellery and watches along with some classic products such as artworks and official gifts in China. 

• Also featured are special zones for jade-carving masters to display their extraordinary works, engage in internal conversations and further develop the historical jade culture.

 The JNA Awards Area, on the other hand, will be used to share stories and successful tips by winners of JNA Awards, the prestigious international awards celebrating excellence and achievement in the jewellery industry. 

• Brand Franchise Area is planned to provide effective matching services for traders to develop market channels.

Featured zones to deliver fashion elements

To fully engage the younger generation who love fashion and jewellery, Shanghai Fair 2017 is going to provide a high fashion platform with new concepts, containing silver jewellery, fashion jewellery and accessories. Moreover, the fair will seek cooperation opportunities with well-known e-commerce platforms and fashion media partners to create business and deliver fashion trends to the market.


• Being in a modern city, Shanghai consumers have developed a strong sense of fast moving trends and in great demand for fashion jewellery and accessories. Shanghai Fair 2017 will set up a specially designed area to exhibit fashion jewelleries and accessories for the target buyers.
