Co-organisers of the fair are the China National Light Industry Council, Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and the Informatization Division of Foreign Economy. The expo will showcase exquisite jewellery and watches along with some classic products, such as artworks from China.

Jewellery Life Pavilion 2.0

With positive feedback last year, Jewellery Life Pavilion 2.0 will be launched in 2018, which will feature world-leading design concepts and innovations that open up crossover cooperation opportunities between traditional or conventional jewellers and the wider applied arts and lifestyle-related sectors, such as clothing, handbags, leather, cosmetics, home furnishing, cashmere, artworks and others.

The five elements’ conceptual zone

The five elements (metal, wood, water, fire and earth) symbolise the cyclic energies of the universe and are in constant interaction with each other. To extract the cultural heritage of jewellery and its products, Shanghai Jewellery Fair 2018 will combine the five elements with the characteristics of jewellery by putting set up the Metal, Wood, Water, Fire and Earth Zones.
